Dear Parents and Carers

As we celebrate book week, I think it is apt to ask ‘when was the last time you read a good book?’ It was wonderful to see so many of our high school students and teachers showing up in book-inspired costumes today. Reading at home is best when modelled by the adults in the household and children are more likely to become avid readers when their parents encourage it, show an interest in books, and ask them about what they are reading. So read! Share your thoughts and ideas on what you are reading and encourage your children when you see them reading.

Just a quick note - our planned active afternoon has been moved from the 31st of August to become the concluding event of EXO day on the 15th September.

Father's Day Movie Night

On Friday the 25th of August the College is hosting an Outdoor Movie Night we are inviting families to join us to view the original Toy Story movie. All proceeds from the evening will go towards supporting our Children of Compassion that each year level sponsors. On the night we will have food and drinks for purchase and there will be fun and games for the whole family to enjoy before the movie begins. Although this event is titled as a Father's Day event we encourage the whole family to attend and enjoy the evening with us. Please remember to bring your own picnic blanket or chairs to enjoy the movie with us.
