Dear Parents and Carers

Week 9 has been busy but fulfilling. Everywhere you look in the CCC, you will see signs of Shrek and the excitement that is to come. I am certain that our Junior School students will love seeing our Middle/Senior students bring this musical to life.

Cross Country

On Wednesday, our Stage 1-3 students participated in the annual Calvary cross country event. It was a hot day, which made for tough running conditions, but our students showed resilience and motivation to get in and give this event their very best. It was a highlight for me to hear about how some of our students had been training with the goal of beating their time/place from last year. This is an example of how we see our students show excellence. They are giving their very best in that moment, whether they placed or not, this is worth celebrating.

Canberra Info Night

On Tuesday evening, the team who are travelling to Canberra with the year 6 cohort held an online info session. The students’ excitement was palpable as they begin to prepare for a rich exploration of our history and culture. Parents of year 6 students, please continue to send your class teachers any questions you may have as this trip approaches. Don’t forget to join our camp Facebook group to see our adventure through photos. Calvarycc Year6 Canberra 2024

NAPLAN

We are so proud of every year 3 and 5 student for giving their best in the NAPLAN testing. Thank you to our counselling team for upskilling students on how to manage worries and testing. NAPLAN finished with our counselling team celebrating by sharing donuts with our students.
