Calvary Christian College is a dual campus College operating as a ministry of Logan Uniting Church in Logan City, Queensland. The College serves approximately 1100 students with a wide range of courses and excellent facilities including a Childcare Centre.

Learning Designer - Junior School

Calvary Christian College has now completed its 2017-2020 strategic plan, and is engaged in challenging, exciting and unprecedented conversations to create a school of the future. 

We are inviting applications for the position of Learning Designer from Term 1, 2018. Our Learning Designers are more than teachers, they are educational professionals who understand that there is nothing ‘standard’ about the journey of learning. Because of this our team thrives on exploring new ways of having students invest in their learning.

  • Are you committed to leading learners through a rich inquiry cycle?

Learning Enrichment Teacher/Coordinator (Years 9-12)

An exciting, career opportunity is available for an experienced and enthusiastic Learning Enrichment Teacher to support the learning program in the Middle/Senior School of Calvary Christian College. This position will commence from the beginning of Semester One, 2018

The Learning Enrichment Teacher works collaboratively within the P-12 Learning Enrichment team to provide quality teaching and learning experiences that support the needs of students with disabilities and specific learning difficulties, as well as high achieving students in the Middle/Senior School (Years 9-12). A key aspect of this role is liaison with teachers in the modification of classroom activities and assessment tasks.

The role has administrative responsibilities associated with learning needs assessment, reviews and subsequent acquittal to external bodies. Experience in EAP and NCCD requirements will be beneficial. There is a high degree of parental liaison and student pastoral care embedded within the activities of the position.
