Sarah Calderwood

Sarah Calderwood (Class of 1997) was heavily into the Music program at Calvary, and after graduating, music continued to be a big influence on her life. She joined an Irish Celtic band called Sunas (pronounced Soo-nus), and ten years later (in 2011), (still in the band) they recorded their album Celtic Road for the ABC Classics label. Sarah went on to record her own solo album with the ABC, called As Night Falls. Her solo album was nominated for an ARIA award in 2011 for Best World Album. Unfortunately, she didn't win, but was very honoured to be nominated. Her sister Hayley (Class of 2003) was very blessed to sing backup vocals on her sister’s solo album. The Calderwood family is very proud of your accomplishments and so is Calvary! Well done Sarah.
